MENO coupons are applied automatically. Customers do not enter a coupon code at checkout; the code is currently for the merchant’s internal reference. If a customer does not see a discount, review the coupon’s outlet assignment, minimum order, and excluded items.

Check the coupon assignment

A coupon applies only when it is assigned to the outlet where the customer is shopping. Review the coupon card to confirm its assigned outlet. Each outlet can have only one coupon assigned at a time.

If the customer is shopping from a different outlet, the coupon assigned to another outlet will not apply there. Edit the coupon if its outlet assignment needs to change.

Check the minimum order

If the coupon has a minimum-order requirement, eligibility is checked against the cart subtotal. The subtotal must meet the configured threshold before the coupon discount can apply.

Use the full subtotal for this check, even when the cart contains items excluded from the coupon. For example, excluded items can help the cart reach the minimum subtotal, but they do not receive a discount themselves.

Do not use the delivery fee when checking the minimum order. The current percentage coupon logic does not discount delivery fees.

Check excluded items

Open the coupon and review the items selected under Excluded items. Exclusions are chosen from the workspace catalog.

An excluded item stays at its regular price and receives no coupon discount. If every item in the customer’s cart is excluded, there is no eligible merchandise value for the percentage discount, even if the order meets the minimum subtotal.

If an item should receive the discount, remove it from the coupon’s excluded-items selection and save the coupon changes.

Confirm the customer-facing result

When a coupon is attached to the customer’s current outlet, MENO shows a promotional banner in the customer-facing experience. In the cart, the bill summary can show an automatic coupon discount, along with subtotal, delivery fee when known, total, and total savings.

The discount is percentage-based and applies to eligible merchandise or order-subtotal values only. It does not reduce excluded items or delivery fees. Customers should not be asked to enter the coupon code, because MENO does not currently provide a customer-entered coupon flow.

After reviewing the assignment, threshold, and exclusions, use a cart for the assigned outlet to check that the automatic discount appears in the bill summary when the cart contains eligible items and meets any configured minimum order.
