Coupons let you offer an automatic percentage discount for an outlet. Each outlet can have one coupon assigned at a time. Customers do not enter a coupon code; MENO applies the coupon automatically when it is attached to the current outlet.

Create a coupon

In Coupons, select Create Coupon to open the coupon form. Enter a coupon code and a discount percentage. The code is for internal reference and future functionality, rather than for customers to enter.

You can optionally set a minimum order. When this setting is enabled, the order must meet the threshold before the coupon can apply. MENO checks eligibility against the full order subtotal, including the value of any items that you exclude from the discount.

You can also enable excluded items and select items from your workspace catalog. Excluded items remain at their regular price and do not receive the coupon discount.

Assign the coupon to the outlet where you want it to apply. An outlet that already has a coupon cannot be selected for another coupon. It is shown as unavailable with its existing coupon assignment, so you must use an outlet without a coupon.

Review and update coupons

Coupon cards show the key details for each current coupon: the discount percentage, coupon code, minimum-order summary when configured, assigned outlet or outlets, and the number of excluded items when applicable.

Select Edit on a coupon card to reopen the same coupon form and change its details. Select Delete to remove the coupon. Because each outlet supports only one assigned coupon, review the outlet assignment before creating or changing another coupon.

Understand how the discount is applied

MENO supports percentage discounts only. The discount applies to eligible merchandise or order-subtotal values. Items you exclude do not receive the discount, and delivery fees are not discounted by the current percentage coupon logic.

For a coupon with a minimum order, the minimum is evaluated against the complete subtotal, not only the value of discount-eligible items. For example, excluded items can help an order meet the minimum subtotal, but they still remain at their regular price.

What customers see

When a coupon is attached to the outlet a customer is viewing, MENO displays a promotional banner at the top of the customer-facing experience. The bill summary shows the automatic coupon discount. Total savings can include both coupon savings and savings from items that are on sale.
