Use a City / Multiple Cities delivery zone when one delivery fee and rule should apply across an entire city or across several cities. Delivery zones are configured per outlet, so create the zone for the outlet that will fulfil deliveries in those locations.
Set up the zone
Open the delivery and pickup configuration for the relevant outlet and create a delivery zone. Choose City / Multiple Cities as the coverage type.
Give the zone a clear Zone Name. The name helps you identify the delivery rule when the outlet has more than one zone. Then select the Country for this zone. The zone country is selected for the zone itself and does not have to match the country where the workspace subscription is based.
Select one or more cities
After choosing the country, select a city from the available city data. You can select more than one city in the same zone when the same delivery rule applies to each selected city.
For example, if deliveries to two cities use the same fee, add both cities to one City / Multiple Cities zone rather than creating separate zones. If a city needs a different fee or free-delivery rule, create a separate zone for that rule.
City / Multiple Cities coverage applies to the whole selected city or cities. Use Draw on Map instead when you need to define a more precise area, such as part of a city, a neighbourhood, or a group of streets.
Set the delivery rule
Enter the zone’s Delivery Fee. This is the fee MENO can apply when a customer’s selected delivery location is within the zone.
You can also set an optional Free Over threshold. When a qualifying order amount meets the configured threshold, delivery for that zone can become free. Leave this setting unset if the zone should always use its delivery fee.
Save the zone when its country, city or cities, and delivery rule are complete. An outlet can have multiple delivery zones, allowing you to set different coverage areas and fees.
What customers experience
When delivery zones are enabled for an outlet, customers must select or confirm a delivery location before continuing. MENO checks the selected location against that outlet’s configured zones.
If the location is covered, the customer can continue with delivery from that outlet. If the current outlet does not cover the location but another outlet from the same business does, MENO selects the nearest eligible outlet and redirects the customer there after the location is confirmed. If no outlet covers the location, the address cannot be confirmed and the customer sees an outside-delivery-area state.
