Pickup lets customers collect an order from a specific outlet. It is configured per outlet, so enabling it for one outlet does not enable it for your other locations.

Enable pickup for an outlet

  1. In the MENO dashboard, open the outlet where customers should be able to collect orders.
  2. Open the consolidated Delivery & Pickup configuration area.
  3. Enable pickup for that outlet.
  4. Repeat this setup for each outlet that offers collection.

Delivery and pickup settings are managed in the Delivery & Pickup area rather than in the WhatsApp ordering tab. An outlet can offer pickup only, delivery only, or both pickup and delivery.

Make sure the outlet address is accurate. MENO shows this address to customers when they confirm where they will collect their order.

How the order type affects pickup

If an outlet offers both pickup and delivery, customers choose an order type when they first open the outlet. Their choice determines the next location or eligibility flow. Customers who choose pickup continue with the pickup selection and confirmation flow.

If pickup is the only ordering method enabled for an outlet, customers do not need to choose between pickup and delivery. MENO follows the normal pickup flow instead.

What customers see

When a customer needs to select or confirm pickup, MENO opens a pickup-location confirmation sheet. The sheet shows:

  • The current outlet.
  • The outlet address.
  • The current or default pickup selection.
  • Other outlets from the same business that have pickup enabled.

Only outlets with pickup enabled appear as alternative pickup locations. If you want an outlet to be available for collection, enable pickup specifically for that outlet.

If a customer chooses another outlet

A customer can select a different pickup outlet only when that outlet has pickup enabled. When they select one, MENO redirects them to that outlet’s customer-facing link. They then confirm the pickup outlet before continuing.

This means each collection outlet should have its own correct address and pickup availability configured. Customers will be shown only the pickup locations that are eligible for their selection.
