Your workspace type determines which details page you use:

  • Retail: open Business Details from the workspace-type section of the dashboard navigation.
  • Restaurant: open Restaurant Details from the same section.

These pages manage the business-facing identity information used across your workspace and customer experience. In a restaurant workspace, the page also includes the legal and policy authoring area.

Review your identity details

When you set up a workspace, MENO captures a legal/company name and a display business or restaurant name. The first onboarding step shows both values so you can confirm or correct them before continuing.

The display business or restaurant name is managed from Business Details or Restaurant Details. It is not edited in Workspace Info. Workspace Info shows the Display Name and also contains the Company Name, which is normally the legal/company name used for MENO invoicing.

Your business or restaurant name can appear to customers on the outlet welcome page and in Outlet Info. Keep it accurate and recognizable so customers can identify your business.

Select Business Types for Retail

In a Retail workspace, use Business Details to classify the business with Business Types. You can select up to three types.

Choose from MENO’s predefined types. If none is suitable, you can create a custom business type. The selected types can be used throughout the workspace and customer experience, including the customer-facing outlet welcome page.

Select Cuisines for Restaurants

In a Restaurant workspace, use Restaurant Details to classify the restaurant with Cuisines. You can select up to three cuisines.

Choose from the predefined cuisines, or create a custom cuisine when needed. The selected cuisines can be shown on the customer-facing outlet welcome page.

Confirm the details during onboarding

If you are completing initial setup, MENO guides you through confirming the legal/company name and display business or restaurant name first. The next relevant setup step is selecting up to three Business Types for Retail or up to three Cuisines for Restaurant. You can return to the applicable details page later from the dashboard navigation.
