Use the Team page to invite colleagues, review pending invitations, update a team member’s role, or remove a member where the action is available. Only the workspace Owner and Admin can manage team members and invitations.
Open the Team page
Go to Settings → Team. The page includes a Team Members table, an Invitations table, an Invite User action, an edit-role action, and a remove-member action where allowed.
Invite a team member
Select Invite User, then complete the invitation form. The required information depends on the role you select:
- Admin: enter the person’s email and select the Admin role. Admin access is workspace-wide, so no outlet selection is required.
- Outlet Manager: enter the email, select the Outlet Manager role, choose at least one accessible outlet, and select the manager access rules.
- Outlet Operator: enter the email, select the Outlet Operator role, choose at least one accessible outlet, and select the order access rule.
An invitation remains valid for 24 hours. Use the Invitations table to check its status and expiry information. The table also provides an action to remove or delete an invitation record.
Choose the right role
Select access carefully before creating or editing a role. The available non-owner roles are Admin, Outlet Manager, and Outlet Operator.
An Admin has broad workspace management access equivalent to the Owner for operational purposes, but cannot access the Billing page or perform billing actions reserved for the Owner.
An Outlet Manager works only with the outlets assigned to them. Their access rules can include editing outlet information; managing categories, items, add-ons, variations, and tags; managing outlet menus and settings; viewing outlet analytics; and viewing outlet orders. Catalog structures are shared across the workspace, so allowing a manager to manage shared catalog entities can affect data used by other outlets.
An Outlet Operator works only with assigned outlets. The order-related access rule covers viewing orders and notifications for those outlets, opening order details, and changing order status. This role does not provide unrelated catalog or workspace management access.
For a full comparison of access levels, see Understand MENO Roles and Permissions.
Edit a role or remove a member
Use the edit-role action in the Team Members table to change a non-owner member’s role. Owner is not managed through normal role editing; ownership is handled through ownership transfer.
Use the remove-member action when it is available to remove a team member from the workspace. Before changing access, confirm the person has the outlets and permissions needed for their responsibilities.
