Your first outlet is the branch or location that customers will use to view your menu or shop and place orders. In the onboarding wizard, Step 6: Outlet guides you through the essential details needed to create that first location.

Add the general outlet details

In the General substep, enter the information that identifies the outlet and supports its core ordering setup:

  • Outlet name
  • Description
  • Country
  • Currency
  • Enable ordering on WhatsApp

If you enable WhatsApp ordering, also provide the WhatsApp order number. Keep the outlet name clear enough for customers to distinguish it from other locations you may add later.

Set the address and contacts

Use the Address substep to enter the address or location for this outlet. Add the details that identify where this branch is located.

In Contacts, add the contact methods and social links for this outlet. Use the details that customers should use to contact this specific location.

Configure opening hours

In Opening hours, set the outlet’s timezone and the hours when it can accept orders. MENO uses these settings to determine whether the outlet is currently open or closed.

When an enabled outlet is closed according to its opening hours, customers can still open the normal outlet experience, browse menus, and add items to their cart. They cannot complete checkout or place an order until the outlet is open.

Create the first menu

In the Menu substep, create the first menu for this outlet. Provide a menu name and, if needed, a cover image. Then select the items that should be included in the menu.

The items available for this menu come from the catalog you added in the earlier onboarding step. If you have added only one item so far, that item may be the only one available to select. Where the menu lets you set a custom price for an item, enter the price that should apply in this menu.

After you create the outlet and its first menu, continue onboarding to the Finish step. MENO can then show the outlet’s customer-facing link and QR code when the outlet configuration and subscription state allow it.
