Use Draw on Map when an outlet delivers to a specific part of a city rather than to an entire city. This option lets you define the zone’s actual coverage directly on a map—for example, a neighbourhood, selected streets, or a particular area that has its own delivery fee.
A drawn delivery zone belongs to one outlet. An outlet can have more than one delivery zone, so you can create separate mapped areas with different delivery rules.
Set the delivery rule
When you create a Draw on Map zone, enter its commercial settings:
- Zone Name to identify the area.
- Country for the zone. The zone country is selected for the zone itself and does not need to match the country of the workspace subscription.
- Delivery Fee for orders in that coverage area.
- An optional Free Over (free-delivery threshold). When the qualifying order amount meets that threshold, the delivery fee for that zone can become free.
Draw the coverage area
Choose Draw on Map as the coverage type. In the map editor, you can:
- Search for the area you want to cover, or select Locate Me.
- Zoom and pan until the required delivery area is visible.
- Draw the exact delivery coverage directly on the map.
- Save the drawn area as the zone.
The saved map shape—not a typed area name—defines the precise delivery coverage. Do not treat this option as a radius around a point: MENO’s documented precise-zone method is Draw on Map.
Use separate mapped areas when fees differ
Create additional drawn zones when different areas need different delivery fees. For example, one mapped area can have one fee and another part of the same city can have a different fee. City/Multiple Cities is available for broader city-wide coverage; Draw on Map is intended for more precise, sub-city coverage.
Avoid creating overlapping zones unless you have confirmed how they should be handled. MENO’s documented behaviour does not define which fee or zone takes precedence when a customer location falls within more than one zone for the same outlet.
