When a customer selects a delivery address or location, MENO checks whether that location is covered by the delivery zones configured for the current outlet. The result determines whether the customer stays with the current outlet, is directed to another outlet, or cannot confirm the location.

This routing applies when delivery zones are enabled for the outlet. Customers must select and confirm a delivery location before continuing. MENO evaluates the selected geographic point or address against the configured delivery zones.

For a signed-in customer, the delivery-location sheet can show saved addresses and a default address. Although the default address is selected automatically, the customer must still confirm it or choose another saved address. A customer who is not signed in can search for a location, use device location where available, or move or set the map pin. Phone verification happens later in checkout.

When the current outlet can deliver

If the selected address or geographic point is inside a delivery zone for the current outlet, the address is available to select. The customer can confirm it and continue ordering from that outlet.

When another outlet can deliver

If the current outlet does not deliver to the selected location, MENO checks the delivery zones of other outlets belonging to the same shop or restaurant.

When another outlet can serve the location, MENO automatically chooses the nearest eligible outlet. The customer is informed that delivery is available from that other outlet, and the address remains available to select. When the customer confirms the address, MENO redirects them to the eligible outlet’s link so they can continue there.

Keep delivery zones current for every outlet that offers delivery. MENO uses the configured zones to decide whether an outlet is eligible for the customer’s selected location. Coverage can be configured by city or multiple cities, or as a precise area drawn on a map. A map-drawn zone defines its exact coverage; do not treat it as a fixed-radius zone.

When no outlet delivers to the location

If no outlet for the shop or restaurant delivers to the selected address or location, the customer cannot confirm it. The address is shown as unavailable, with a message such as Outside Delivery Area or We don’t deliver to this area yet.

If a location you intend to serve is shown as outside the delivery area, review the delivery-zone coverage configured for the relevant outlets.

Delivery zones and delivery without zone enforcement

Location routing is different when delivery is enabled but an outlet does not use delivery-zone enforcement or calculation. In that case, MENO does not block the customer at the intro page based on a zone check, and the customer can continue to menus. For a manual-fee delivery path, the merchant later calculates and finalizes the delivery charge with the customer outside MENO.

What happens during a redirect

A redirect to another outlet happens during the initial pickup or delivery location flow. MENO retains the relevant selection state from the first outlet where applicable and continues the flow in the selected or automatically chosen outlet.

A customer who has already added items to a cart follows a different cross-outlet redirect flow. In that situation, MENO presents a warning and clears the cart before redirecting to the other outlet.
