Customers begin at your outlet’s customer-facing link or QR code. What they see and the steps available to them depend on your outlet’s settings, including its menus, languages, opening hours, pickup and delivery availability, delivery zones, payment-method choices, and whether WhatsApp ordering is enabled.

Start at the outlet page

The outlet link opens a welcome page with your branding, outlet details, available menus, and any assigned coupon banner. Customers can use the language switcher to select a language enabled for that outlet; customer-facing content changes where translations are available.

If both Pickup and Delivery are enabled, the customer chooses an order type first. If only one method is enabled, the normal flow for that method continues without asking them to choose.

For pickup, MENO can show the current outlet and other pickup-enabled outlets from the same business. Choosing another outlet redirects the customer there. For delivery with delivery zones enabled, the customer selects or confirms a delivery location before continuing. MENO checks whether the current outlet can serve that location. If another outlet from the same business is eligible, MENO selects the nearest eligible outlet and redirects the customer after they confirm. A location that no outlet serves cannot be confirmed.

Delivery can follow three distinct configured outcomes. MENO can attach an automatic fee from a matching delivery zone, apply free delivery, or allow delivery through a manual-fee path. In the manual-fee path, MENO does not calculate a final delivery charge; the merchant and customer finalize it outside MENO, and the customer-facing UI can indicate that delivery fees may apply.

A disabled outlet shows an Outlet Disabled page instead of the regular customer experience. If an enabled outlet is closed, customers can still browse and add items to their cart, but they cannot check out or place an order.

Browse the menu and add items

After a customer selects a menu, they can browse its items. They can switch between menus available at the outlet, search the current menu by item name or description, use available filters and category controls, and change between grid and list views.

Item cards can show the item name, description, image, current price, sale price, and an add control. For a simple item, selecting the plus control adds it directly to the cart. For an item with options or extras, MENO opens a configuration sheet so the customer can make required selections, choose optional extras, and confirm the item. Selecting an item itself opens its item page, where the customer can view its details and configure it before adding it.

Once the cart contains items, a View Cart button is available while the customer browses.

Review the cart

In the cart, customers can change quantities, remove items, and edit configured items. They can also add order-level notes for instructions. The bill summary can show the subtotal, automatic coupon discount, tax, delivery fee when known, total, and savings.

Coupons are applied automatically. Customers do not enter a coupon code. An outlet can have only one coupon assigned at a time.

Customers can change the order type from the cart. If the change requires moving to another outlet while the cart has items, MENO warns that the cart will be cleared. Confirming the change clears the cart and sends the customer to the other outlet.

Complete checkout

A customer who is not logged in is asked to verify a phone number with a code sent through WhatsApp before checkout continues. The verified number is the customer’s MENO identity. After verification, the customer remains signed in in that browser across MENO outlets.

Checkout requires the customer’s full name. They can use their verified phone number as the order contact number or enter a different contact number; the alternate number does not require OTP verification. Delivery orders also include a selected delivery address. Customers may choose from saved addresses or add one, subject to the outlet’s delivery eligibility rules.

Customers select from the payment methods you have configured. This choice is recorded on the MENO order, but MENO does not process the payment transaction. Any payment collection, payment link, refund, settlement, or card interaction takes place between you and the customer outside MENO.

Place the order and continue to WhatsApp

When the customer selects Place Order, MENO creates the order and sends it to your dashboard. The customer then sees an Order Placed state and is prompted to open WhatsApp. WhatsApp opens to your configured order number with a prefilled message containing the MENO order link. The customer taps Send to send that message.

The order already exists in MENO before the customer sends the WhatsApp message. If they do not send it, you can still see the order in MENO. Customers can later open a read-only order overview from My Orders or the order link to review its status, items, notes, bill summary, delivery details where relevant, and payment-method choice.

My Orders is scoped to the outlet the customer is currently viewing. It does not aggregate a customer’s orders across outlets or merchants.
