The customer profile is the account area customers use to view their MENO identity and access account-related options while ordering from an outlet. Customers open it from the profile icon in the customer-facing ordering experience.

What customers can access

The customer account landing page shows the customer’s identity/name and verified phone number. From this page, customers can open:

  • Profile/Details to edit their profile and contact information.
  • Address Book to manage saved delivery addresses.
  • My Orders to view orders for the outlet they are currently viewing.
  • Logout to end their current customer session.

The profile area is part of the MENO customer experience. A customer who is signed in while visiting one MENO outlet remains signed in when visiting another MENO outlet in the same browser.

How the verified phone number works

A customer’s verified phone number is their primary identity in the current MENO experience. When verification is required, the customer enters their phone number and receives the verification code through WhatsApp.

MENO associates stored customer data, including addresses and orders, with that verified phone identity. This is why the verified phone number matters when a customer uses the profile area.

What happens if the verified number changes

Changing the verified identity number changes the customer identity context. The customer is logged out or asked to authenticate again as needed.

Data associated with the previous verified phone number does not move to the new phone identity. As a result, addresses and orders stored under the previous number will not appear when the customer is using the new verified number; they remain associated with the earlier phone identity.

This behavior is separate from editing profile or contact information in the profile form. A customer who cannot see saved information should check whether they are signed in with the same verified phone number used previously.

Logging out

When a customer selects Logout, MENO ends the customer session. If authentication is needed again later, the customer is redirected to the phone OTP/login flow.

Logging out does not combine or transfer data between phone identities. Customers who need access to addresses or orders saved under a previous verified number must use that same verified phone identity.
